Jasmin’s interest and passion for Yoga, Ayurveda and Alternative Healing Arts started over 25 years ago when she took her very first yoga class as a first year at Columbia University. A few years later, she came to understand the power of detoxification and alternative healing modalities when she fully recovered from a debilitating and chronic illness that disrupted her life for several years. Since then, Jasmin has been formally and independently studying yoga and traditional wellness modalities in the United States, Thailand and India.
As Founder and Director of Pure Healthy Life, Jasmin is passionate about sharing her knowledge about Yoga, Ayurveda & Panchakarma, Thai Massage and Detoxification. She works with private clients and as an educator, trainer and panelist in retreats, conferences and workshops in the United States and Internationally.
Jasmin has received training and certifications in: Sivananda Yoga; Isha Hatha Yoga; Integrative Yoga Therapy; Ayurvedic Massage and Panchakarma, Herbology & Wellness Treatments (Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Marma Therapy and Basti), Pregnancy Care and Baby Massage, Beauty Therapy; Emotional Freedom Technique; Dr. Morse’s Cellular Regeneration and Detoxification Protocol; Anne Wigmore’s Living Foods Lifestyle Program; Advanced Thai Medical Massage; and Reiki.
Jasmin studied Ayurveda at Sai Ayurvedic College in Miami and the STED Council approved Anjali School of Ayurveda and Pancha Karma in Kerala, India. She earned her master’s degree in Public Administration from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University and her bachelor’s degree from Barnard College, Columbia University.
Prior professional experiences include: working as the learning programs manager for the Kauffman Foundation; co-founding the organizational development consulting firm Community Change Consortium and working; and advancing Mayoral policy initiatives for the New York City Mayor’s Office.
