"Throughout my forty years of nonprofit administrative and accreditation experience in the USA, I have found that it is critical for organizations to have a process of standardization and peer reviews by a national accreditation organization in order to move any base of knowledge and service to a higher level.  Accreditation standards of a national accreditation organization help ensure that an organization's services will be consistently provided with the highest national quality standards.

Ayurveda has a valuable base of knowledge that is currently not recognized or able to be fully integrated within the current medical system.  I see The Council for Ayurveda Credentialing (CAC) developing and applying accreditation standards, which will develop a tremendous opportunity of future employment and new work options through governmental regulation, affiliation and partnerships with medical systems and facilities. Through accreditation, the Council for Ayurveda Credentialing (CAC) will assist Ayurveda educational programs be better positioned to secure educational funding for students and develop national recognition as a leader in the Ayurveda profession throughout the world."
