Council for Ayurveda Credentialing (CAC)
The Council for Ayurveda Credentialing's Council is composed of Ayurveda Educators, Health Counselors, Practitioners, Vaidyas (India-trained Ayurveda Physicians) and Medical Doctors volunteering their time and expertise towards the common goal of creating world-class standards for accreditation.
The criteria used to identify and select Council Members includes that they have 1 or more of the following:
Be active practitioners of Ayurveda in the USA
Be active educators in Ayurveda educational programs in the USA
Have a background and training as Ayurveda professionals
Have academic training in at least two health disciplines
Embrace the value of inclusive and collaborative efforts
As an independent organization, the Council of Ayurveda Credentialing can ensure that it creates standards that reflect the interest of all stakeholders in the Ayurveda community.

The work of the Council for Ayurveda Credentialing is accomplished and organized by the volunteer members of 7 standing committees. Each committee ensures effective communication, collaboration and coordination of tasks.
